Let us do the hard work for you.....
Our affiliate policy, plainly stated
Some of the links on The High Street Bride are affiliate links. This means that if you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer's site.
We are a participant in affiliate programmes including Awin, and we work with a range of UK retailers and brands across bridal fashion, shoes, beauty, and accessories.
What this means for our reviews
Affiliate relationships do not influence what we recommend. We cover brands because they are relevant and useful to our readers, not because of the commission rate they offer. Where we have concerns about a brand — inconsistent sizing, a difficult returns process, unreliable quality — we say so, regardless of whether we link to them.
We would rather give you an honest warning that costs us a commission than a glowing recommendation that wastes your money.
Every article on this site that contains affiliate links includes a disclosure statement at the top. You will never encounter an affiliate link on The High Street Bride without being told it is one.
Brands and products we have not been paid to feature
We are not paid to write about specific products or brands. We do not accept payment for positive reviews or guaranteed coverage. Occasionally we may receive a product sample for review purposes — where this is the case, it is noted in the relevant article. A sample does not guarantee a positive review.
